Jovana Bjekić, research Associate at Human Neuroscience Group, Institute for Medical Research, University of Belgrade. She is investigating neural structures underlying memory, and exploring the possibility to enhance learning and memory performance using different noninvasive brain stimulation techniques. Her research focuses on the role of fronto-parietal and parieto-hippocampal pathways in explicit and implicit associative memory across different modalities, as well as other closely related phenomena (semantic and working memory, associative learning).
